Pine Wood
I used pine wood, a type of soft wood to make my cam toy. It is used as it is strong and durable and it is easy to work with. I used pine wood to do the top, base and the sides and small parts such as the cams, follower, dowel and the unmovable piece on the piece. Acrylic
I used acrylic for the movable piece. Acrylic is being used as acrylic is light, hard-wearing, strong despite it is easily scratched or cracked. Acrylic also have a variety of colours so it is commonly use.
